  On April 2nd— that’s a Monday-- at 7:30 in the evening you can take yourself to the Sarasota Opera House and spend some glorious time with Gloria Musicae.

   

   

   

  They will sing for you Haydn’s Seven Last Words of Christ…guaranteed to produce goose-bumps as  well as that choked up feeling you get when you’ve been overwhelmed by the sheer force of something beautiful. 

   

   

   

   

   

  They’re performing  this work with an orchestra which will also accompany the chorus in the program’s second half—Vaughan Williams’

  Five Mystical Songs.
